Palmerston Indoor Sports Centre: Men, Junior Men and Senior Men's Teams in DIBV Open

The men's and juniors men teams showcased outstanding performances this weekend, with players demonstrating exceptional skill and dedication. It was heartening to witness the seniors actively mentoring their junior counterparts, fostering a spirit of growth and teamwork within the club.

Special congratulations are in order for our Panther Junior men's team for clinching victory in their division at the DIBVO. While our senior men's team advanced to the grand final, the win narrowly eluded them.

A heartfelt thank you to the Junior men's team sponsors, whose support is integral to our success:

- Coolalinga Mowers

- Walsh Business Development

- Bliss Home Loans

- Service on Site (SOS)

- Under Pressure Air Compressors

We are grateful to all who came out to cheer on the teams during the weekend. Your presence and encouragement meant the world to the players.

A sincere appreciation to Panthers teams coach Matt O'Brien, duty coach Happy, and team manager Jess for their tireless efforts behind the scenes and dedication to training the teams. If you or someone you know is interested in joining the junior men's program, please feel free to inquire at the bar next week for further details.

For most of us who participate in a team sport, we do so in an amateurish capacity. Perhaps a couple of times a week or even only once a week. Which is most likely not enough to be in top physical condition to participate in a sport which can lead to injuries. Sport injuries can have a big impact in our day to day life. Serious injuries can not only sideline us from playing but they can also impact our ability to work or other aspects of our lifestyle, therefore, it is important to take preventive measures to avoid getting ourselves hurt.
